Nairobi Safari Walk is located at the Kenya Wildlife Service Headquarters which is along Lang'ata road.It is a Kenya Wildlife Service Conservation Project seeking to inform visitors Kenya's wildlife and their habitats. It is just 30 metres from the entrance of Nairobi National park. The opening hours are from 8 am -5:30 pm everyday. The entry fees are Adults: East African Citizens- KES 215/= East African Residents KES 365/= Non Residents USD $20 Children: East African Citizens- KES 50/= East African Residents KES 150/= Non Residents USD $10 Students: East African Citizens- KES 50/= East African Residents KES 150/= Non Residents USD $10

With a combination of three simulated, forests, wetlands and Savannahs, i had an opportunity to learn about their valuable resource and how they can contribute to its conservation. Some unique plants and animals that are locally extinct or threatened are displayed so that the public can learn the dangers facing conservation today. This is the place where you learn how to take part in wildlife conservation quest. You will have a taste of Kenya's rich animal collection including the rare bongo, white rhino, albino zebra, a collection of cats, antelopes and primates. NSW is also home to a collection of about 150 species of local trees.I got to learn their varied traditional uses too.

You can get a tour guide to take you around.Although for me,i took a walk alone because i kind of prefer learning on my own since there are paths guiding you around. It's a great place to take someone and indulge into deep conversations while enjoying what nature has to offer.Parents can as well take kids on a weekend getaway.
